Dermatologist

Dr. Winter, founder of the Dermatology Center of Washington Township, is a graduate of Columbia University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed his internship and dermatology residency at Montefiore and Jacobi Hospitals in New York, and is Board Certified in Dermatology. Dr. Winter is also President of the Dermatological Society of New Jersey, and serves on several medical boards both locally and nationally. In his role as Associate Professor at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ-SOM), he has given lectures in dermatology to medical students at UMDNJ-SOM, Internal Medicine groups, and Pediatrics groups, and he has been interviewed for news articles on Dermatology in newspapers and magazines. He has been ranked as a “Top Doc” in Philadelphia Magazine, New Jersey Monthly Magazine, and South Jersey Magazine, and is currently listed in phillymag.com as one of the top doctors in the Philadelphia area.

 

SegalElana Segal, MD
Dermatologist

Dr. Elana Segal has been with the Dermatology Center of Washington Township since 2005, and is practicing both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, and pursued her medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Segal completed her internal medicine internship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and became a board certified dermatologist after completing her dermatology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr.Segal received special education and training, and has particular expertise in Botox and injectable fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm. She has studied the art of facial rejuvenation, and stays current with the latest cosmetic treatments.

 

Joshua FreedmanJoshua Freedman, M.D., M.S., F.A.A.D.
Dermatologist

Dr. Joshua Freedman is a nationally recognized innovator in the field of dermatology, a board-certified dermatologist, member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatological Surgeons, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and Florida Society of Dermatological Surgeons. He is a licensed physician in Surgery and Medicine in New Jersey and Florida.

Dr. Freedman trained as a dermatologist at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, in the prestigious department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, which is ranked among the Nation’s Top Ten Programs (US News & World Report 2015). During his training he received numerous institutional and national awards for his inventions and innovations in cutting edge dermatological technology for early skin cancer detection. Dr. Freedman completed his Medical education at Rush University Medical College and his Internal Medicine Internship training at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital. While at Rush University, he served as the president of the Medical Student Surgery Group, and researched at the Craniofacial Center for Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Freedman graduated from Drexel University with dual masters degrees in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, and continues to explore new ways to utilize technology to enhance dermatological care.

Dr. Freedman greatly enjoys and continues to seek out volunteer opportunities to give back to his community. He has received grants from the American Academy of Dermatology to support volunteer work in Native American Health Services on reservations in Chinle and Tsaile, Arizona. Dr. Freedman has provided volunteer service for Florida Keys Health Fairs and Camillus House Homeless Shelter. Dr. Freedman served as a student director for the Community Health Clinic in Chicago, which provided weekly free clinical care to the uninsured, and founded a new clinic that continues to serve uninsured Chicagoans today.

Dr. Freedman is originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania and is happy to return to and serve the medical and surgical dermatological needs in this area.

 

Marissa IonnoMarissa Ionno
Physician Assistant

Marissa Ionno PA-C, a board certified Physician Assistant , joined the Dermatology Center in 2016. Marissa was born and raised in South Jersey and graduated as a member of the Honors College at Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Minor in Psychology with Cum Laude honors. She received her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) . Prior to graduating from PCOM, Marissa had over six years of experience in the field of Dermatology. Marissa is an avid animal lover, spending her free time advocating for animal rescue. She is eager to help address and treat any of your dermatological concerns.

 

Amy MorrisAmy Morris PA-C
Physician Assistant

Amy Morris PA-C, a certified physician assistant, joined the Dermatology Center in May, 2007. She relocated here from Boston where she practiced surgery for one year at Mass General Hospital, and then Dermatology and Internal Medicine for 8 years with a prestigious multi-specialty practice. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors in Science, and received a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Sciences at George Washington University.

 

 

Gregory Persichetti, DO
Mohs Surgeon

Gregory Persichetti, DO is a board-certified dermatologist, a Mohs and Reconstructive fellowship-trained surgeon, and a skin cancer specialist. Dr. Persichetti joined the Dermatology Center in 2008. Dr. Persichetti received his medical degree at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA and completed 2 years of internal medicine at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. Dr. Persichetti completed a 3-year dermatology residency at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL., where he also served as chief resident, and subsequently received his board certification in dermatology. He completed a Mohs College approved fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Reconstruction under the direction of Dr. Roger Ceilly in Des Moines, IA.

 

Amy KrachmanAmy Krachman, DO
Laser Surgeon

Dr. Amy Krachman joined the Dermatology Center of Washington Township in January 2009. She is board certified in Family Medicine, specializing in Aesthetic Medicine. She received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and for the past several years has worked exclusively as a laser surgeon. With her great skill and careful approach, Dr. Krachman has treated hundreds of satisfied patients in our office.

 

 

 

Susan BullockSusan Bullock
Esthetician

Susan Bullock is a Licensed Esthetician who has been with the Dermatology Center since 1999. She graduated at the top of her class from Rizzeri Institute, a leading aesthetic institute, and in 1997 received her certification. She was the first aesthetician to offer cosmetic services at the Dermatology Center, and since that time, she has developed an outstanding reputation for delivering the highest quality of care and service to her clients. Ms. Bullock and Dr. Winter work together in choosing the finest available products and procedures to offer to our cosmetic patients. With her extensive background and more than ten years of experience, Susan has personalized many of these procedures to optimize results and comfort. Ms. Bullock specializes in chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and custom blend foundation, and is adept at managing complex skin care regimens for men and women of all ages and all skin colors. Thousands of clients have benefited from Susan’s expertise, and her warmth, caring, and professionalism are without equal.
